Hello June!!

and no... I dont have a friend by the name of June. I am trying to welcome the month of June with open arms packed with all the positivity i can muster in this post!! ^_^

May has been one crazy month for me. A lot of things happened...and my family went through a lot that I dont want to think about it anymore.

In this age and time it's easy to escape and just be in a world of our own. But..sometimes..no matter how we ignore things that are happening around us, we'd have to face it eventually.

I saw this post of a friend which I'd like to quote.

I've only known Big Bang from their first Lollipop video but got hooked just recently when TOP kept staring at me in their Koe Wo Kikasete MV. rawr. lol.

From then on my Ipod is on Big Bang all the time!

Elianto Moisture Lipstick in Sweetie Red

It's been so hot in the Philippines lately because of El Nino and putting on any type of makeup is such a waste because it'll melt with sweat it no time at all.

I'm not the type of person who sweat much. Really. Even if I jog around I'll only get that damp feeling but no trickling sweat. Never. Now my sweat still doesnt trickle but imagine waking up with your arms and legs damp. Ew right? And this has been happening for weeks :(

Rain, please come na! Me calling on the rain is such a big thing because I dont like the rain..at all.

My point is...with me reading all these blogs about make up and colors made me realize how pale i look and I want to get an extra color on my face but I cant do make up now because of the heat. I want to have color not the just-out-of-the-shower look which I usually sport. :D Which brings me to buying a tube of Elianto Moisture Lipstick in Sweetie Red. Because aside from my nails, lips doesnt sweat too!! (or does it??..hehe)

This is the first lipstick I bought.Ever. and I'm turning 26 this year so yeah, I'm always a late bloomer in anything.

Now onto the tube.

looks kinda red and it is named Sweetie Red but this is pink!

my lips are naturally dark without anything in it. my upper lips are darker. and no, i dont smoke.

I usually do lipbalm&/concealer-lipstick-lipgloss pattern but this one is just the lipstick for photo purposes.

It's got just the right amount of pink. Not too loud and not too light.Perfect for daily use at work. Creamy. No smell. Stays on for about 2-3 hours without eating. I had to behave like a good girl and check my lips every now and then so see if the color is still there. I'm a lipstick eater!

This color doesnt stain the lips so once its gone the color is gone too. Which I think is how it is in most moisture lipsticks.

Overall, this is a good product with a pretty shade of pink. Definitely a good buy!

Over the weekend, I got two new polishes from the Nail Up kiosk in Trinoma from my previous post.

BK Korean polish Php120

Very easy to apply. Not sticky at all. Dries easily.

*my pinky is already topped with glitters

BSJ polish with blue glitters.Php 150 Its got dust-like glitters and bigger round glitters.

I wanted to use both of them so I topped the blue glitters over the green BK polish anf TFS topcoat and heres how it looks like:

Notice the tips losing the polishes? Not sure if I gave it enough time to dry up. I'm usually impatient with letting my nails dry. Either that or its too hot itll take a longer time for polishes to try. We're currently experiencing El Nino here in the Philippines and its so darnnn HOT.

Back to my nails,at first I thought it doesnt look good but when I was done with all fingers, it all looked pretty to me even with the blue and green combination *___*

will be rockin this nails for the next few days!

Nail Up (Korean Polishes) at Trinoma!

So I was in Trinoma last Sunday and stall caught my eye. I went giddy at the sight of all the lovely colors... ^_____^

I dont remember seeing that store in Trinoma the last time I went there, but I rarely go to Trinoma since its far from my place so anyway... I asked the sales person and if I remember correctly they opened just last April. *im super forgetful*

On to the polishes...

they got all sort of Korean polishes....what caught my eye was the BK polishes because I just recently saw a blog about it. I have always been curious about the polishes used by most polish addicts (OPI, China Glaze, Zoya etc) but they're not available here locally and Im not into online shopping (yet!..) so all I do is stare at all those lovely colors. Imagine my joy when I saw these.

Finally! I can try nail polishes which are used by the bloggers outside the Philippines!

BK polishes for Php120

I shouldve bought some of these so I can compare to TFS polishes but I still have a lot of unused/used only once bottles, I want to use em again which I wont be able to do if I keep buying new ones.

stamping sets. wasnt able to get the name but its not Konad. the set with the stamp with 2 plates is only Php200. Sadly, they dont sell per plate. I strangled myself so I wont buy the set because I already have Konad stamp tools and I just want additional plates.

They got lots of nail stickers too which I didt bother to look at because I still got loads of nail stickers waiting to be used.

on the bottom part of the shelf are nail art pens for Php100 each. I didnt buy any because I have a 12piece set already which I also havent used much except for dots. Gotta get those creative juices flowing and do some nail arts soon!

Ive been checking out glittered polishes lately thats why I got that glittery one.

I have to remind myself not to get blue and green polishes anymore, I dont know why but I always end up buying green/blue polishes.

IN2IT Lasting Colour Lipstick

Got this over the weekend from Watsons North Edsa. I wanted to check out the Maybelline counter but my feet got me to the IN2IT stall instead.

IN2IT Lasting Colour Lipstick in Melon

Now, I dont have much lipstick because I only recently "liked" the thought of using lipstick. This is only the 2nd lipstick I bought myself. I dont know much about lipsticks but I know Im not into the matte type..too drying for my lips. The reason I still got this was because the sales assistant said its got moisturizing elements which will lessen the dryness factor, plus, i have natural dark upper lips so I need something that covers longer..and I tend to eat lipgloss/lipstick on my lips within an hour..so..yeah *sad*

I dont have a swatch but I have a photo of it on my lips. Again, I have naturally dark upper lips so the color might differ on others puckers.

*This is already after 2hours or so of wearing

I swiped it for review purposes only, left it alone and surf the net till my head hurts. After about 6hours lipstick still on (yes, my time flies like crazy when im infront of the computer 0_o), I even ate ripe mangoes and the color was still there. I was so sleepy so I brushed my teeth and this morning when I woke up I noticed that my lips has still got some pinkish stain from the lipstick. Talk about lasting coverage or me not brushing my lips right, ha!

Original price is Php 419.75 but I got a 10% discount plus a Php30 off by just filling up a really short survey so I got charged Php347.75 only.

Overall, I think this is a good tube of lipstick.Im still not a fan of matte but Ill give this a 5/5 because it lives up to its name!
